Beer!

I got a book from my gf Katie called "The Big Book O' Beer." It's a really cool book about the history of beer worldwide and in America, beer brands, making your own beer, beer facts and trivia, etc... There is one quote in there that I had to put on here.

On September 13, 1773, Frederick the Great, King of Prussia announces: "My people must drink beer. His majesty was brought up on beer and so were his ancestors and his officers and soldiers. Many battles have been fought and won by soldiers nourished on beer, and the King does not believe that coffee-drinking soldiers can be depended on to endure hardships or to beat the enemies."

LOL werd to that! Is that a great quote or what!

In Yankee news they took 3 of 4 from the Tigers and 2 of 3 from Baltimore. Considering the way their lineup is depleted with injuries, I am definatley happy with those results.
