SWEEP!

5 games! 5 wins! Yanks sweep the weekend series with the Red Sox and are now 6.5 games ahead in the AL East. It was a beatdown of epic porportions! The Yanks beat them every way possible. Blowouts, extra innings, pitching duels, you name it.

BoSox will be extremely lucky to just get the wildcard. But with the race going on in the AL Central, even that is very very unlikely. OYA!

Update 8/14/06

Sorry about the long delay. I am going to start keeping up to date on this site.

In sad sports related news the SUNY Albany President Dr. Kermit Hall yesterday while vacationing in Hilton Head, SC. He was a huge supporter of UAlbany athletics, and was a big reason why the Danes went to the NCAA tournament in basketball this year. He also had plans to build a legit football stadium on campus. He was often seen sitting in the bleachers with the students at sports events. Hopefully the next school President will share his vision for college sports at UAlbany. He will be missed.
