Another short story:
Civics
One night when we all still lived at home me, Matt, Ang and Em decided to drive down to Cairo and grab some food. We were all late teens, early twenties. I had an 02 Civic I was slowly ricing out and Ang had just bought the same model. Mine was black hers was white. So Matt jumped in with me, Em jumped in with Ang and we headed out.
It's about 5 miles from where lived lived to Cairo, down a windy mountain road. We pulled out and took of down that road as fast as we could possibly drive.They were both 5 speeds and it was an absolute blast cranking down that road with me taking it up to the redline in every gear going right down the middle of the road, and Ang right on my bumper. Of course Matt and Em were scared crapless. For most of the trip we were going 90-100 mph down this little road blasting past any cars in front of us. Pure adrenaline rush.
We get to the McDs, pull in and get out of the cars. We chatted for a sec in the parking lot and then start walking in. Suddenlyt two state troopers go screaming past the place, lights on sirens screaming. I had a sudden panic attack but they kept right on going. This was about 30 seconds after we had pulled in to the place Wonder who they were after...
